Ready to make a difference? We’re hiring a Operations and Delivery Manager to help power our international mission.

Job Title: Operations and Delivery Manager
Report to: CEO
Location: Remote (must have reasonable overlap with UK hours)
Contract Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Salary: Competitive
Start Date: April/May 2026

  • Alumnify is a start-up that’s redefining how UK universities connect with prospective international students — through the authentic voice of their alumni.

We work with recent graduates, known as Alumnifiers, who provide peer-to-peer support, local insight and trusted guidance to students considering study in the UK. This approach builds genuine connections, boosts enrolment and strengthens long-term alumni engagement.

Our mission is simple: to make the international student journey more informed, personal and human, while empowering graduates to give back and grow in the process.

As we scale, operational discipline and delivery quality are critical. Our university partners rely on us for reliability, professionalism and measurable outcomes.

This role sits at the centre of that responsibility.

  • This is a hands-on operational leadership role with significant responsibility for delivery quality, contractor performance and system discipline.

You’ll be the operational backbone of Alumnify’s delivery engine — owning global campaign execution, systems, and performance improvements from end to end.

    You will:

    • Oversee the performance and allocation of Alumnifiers globally

    • Take ownership of operational standards across campaigns

    • Ensure booking accuracy, billing discipline and performance consistency

    • Drive measurable improvements in delivery quality and efficiency

    • Lead operational improvement initiatives

    • Support the maintenance of strong client relationships

  • Alumnifier Management & Network Management

    • Allocate Alumnifiers to activities and ensure clear briefing ahead of delivery

    • Maintain regular communication across platforms including email, Teams, WhatsApp and regional channels

    • Monitor attendance, adherence to briefing standards and post event reporting

    • Review and verify submitted hours and supporting evidence, challenging discrepancies where necessary

    • Lead biannual appraisal processes

    • Maintain oversight of training completion and readiness for specific activity types

    • Set and refine performance standards across the network

    • Lead structured performance conversations where required

    • Continuously refine performance standards across the network

    • Develop quality control frameworks for delivery and billing

    Campaign & Booking Operations

    You will:

    • Oversee end-to-end delivery of conversion campaigns and events

    • Track booking progress and flag risks early

    • Review and refine operational structures.

    • Maintain system accuracy and database discipline

    • Capture activity outcomes and performance insights for reporting

    • Support supplier sourcing and coordination where required

    • Take ownership of operational KPIs across campaigns

    • Improve booking processes and documentation

    • Drive measurable operational efficiency improvements

    Client Support

    • Support onboarding of new university clients

    • Ensure accurate internal system setup

    • Provide timely booking updates and flag critical feedback

    • Contribute directly to client reporting and operational review meetings

    • Support refinement of service delivery models.

    Operational Projects & Infrastructure Development

As we scale, you will lead the development of new operational frameworks and systems.

    • Lead end-to-end operational projects (e.g. training platform build, systems migrations, process redesign)
      • Define scope, milestones and delivery timelines
      • Coordinate stakeholders and ensure adoption across the team
      • Build scalable operational frameworks to support company growth
      • Embed new systems and monitor performance post-implementation

This role includes building what does not yet exist.

    Training & Development

    • Reinforce best practice with Alumnifiers ahead of campaigns

    • Support delivery of structured training modules

    • Shape and refine training content

    • Refine guidance and frameworks

    • Contribute to long term capability development of the network

  • Essentials:
    You should demonstrate

    • 5+ years’ experience managing performance within distributed or contractor-based teams

    • Studied a degree in the UK or an English speaking country

    • Strong written and spoken Business English communication skills

    • Evidence of improving operational processes

    • Digitally confident and competent (we primarily use Airtable and Softr, if you aren’t familiar with these specifically, we are happy to provide training)

    • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently

    • Confidence challenging discrepancies in hours, evidence or delivery standards

    • Strong organisational and systems skills

    • Availability to work during some UK core hours (ideally 09:00-12:00 GMT) and occasional weekends

    Desirable:

    • Experience working with remote contractors or freelancers

    • Familiarity with international education or recruitment

    • Competitive salary based on experience and location

    • A chance to shape a fast-growing, impact-led company

    • Meaningful work that supports students and alumni across the world

    • We’re a remote-first team passionate about supporting your development and growth as we scale

    • Supportive and collaborative international team

    • Take ownership in a growing, globally focused business where operational quality matters.

    • Progression path as the company scales

  • If this role sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
