What our partners say
“Most of the students confirmed their place shortly after”

We have an ambitious 5 year international student growth plan and we have identified Thailand as a priority market. Whilst we are seeing organic growth in applications, I felt that we needed more on the ground support to help us in the conversion stage. Having an Alumnify representative that can engage with our offer holders is invaluable to a university like ours.
Onjira has supported us with attending events in Bangkok which has saved both our staff time and travel budget whilst providing a fantastic first impression of UNNC.In Africa, we found that with the distance and cost of travelling (from China) it was challenging to have an on the ground presence, so Alumnify helped us to recruit Iliaysu in Nigeria, with the aim to support applicants in Nigeria, and to have a key role in virtually supporting our applicants across Africa virtually.
-
Very impressive. Onjira graduated with an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management in 2019 and is now Senior International Communications Manager at one of Thailand's largest retail conglomerates. Iliyasu is now MD at a large construction and project management firm based in Abuja. As soon as we met them online as shortlisted candidates, we had no doubt they would both do an amazing job representing UNNC. I've also been impressed with how well trained they are while still retaining their authentic, honest reflections on their time at UNNC.

It really made a huge difference, nowadays students, particularly those aiming for top-ranked universities are adept at finding information on their university. They can quickly extract what they need from official websites and social media platforms, and will be actively searching for student voices on TikTok, Reddit etc etc. What they are often lacking is a real person that can share genuine stories.
As an example, our Alumnify led flagship event in Bangkok was well attended and most of the students confirmed their place at UNNC shortly after. -
I’d say go for it, but take the time to investigate where alumnify can fit into your recruitment mix.
For some markets Alumnifiers can be used to boost your existing activities, for other markets you can work with Alumnify to lead recruitment activity. I’d be confident that as we have found for UNNC, ROI will be clear and that you will be supported every step of the way by the Alumnify team.
“The evidence is clear: alumni voices are driving results.”

We know that what really persuades a student isn’t another marketing email but it’s hearing from someone who’s lived the Bath experience. Our Advancement Office already does great work in this area, and Alumnify gave us an additional framework to make those authentic conversations consistent, impactful and measurable.
-
The depth of engagement. Our alumni reconnected with students who’d gone quiet, taking the time to answer their questions in their own language and context. Across Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, 270 offer-holders were supported through nearly 100 hours of one-to-one conversations with a 74% call success rate, which we’re informed is nearly double the standard benchmark rate, which was very positive news.
-
The alumni there created genuine trust. Calls were conversational, culturally attuned, and reassuring. We reached nine out of ten offer-holders, and students rated the experience 8.7 out of 10 for impact. That’s a number we were impressed with!
-
In Pakistan, we worked closely with Alumnify to deliver targeted conversion support, pairing alumni stories with timely follow-up to help students make confident decisions. It’s a market where trust and reassurance are essential, and that peer voice really resonates.
In Kenya, we’re now focused on building brand awareness by introducing Bath through on-the-ground alumni engagement and partnerships – working with agents and local schools. Having a Bath graduate locally gives us visibility and presence we simply didn’t have before.
-
Every market is different. Scholarships dominate in Indonesia, competitor comparisons in Thailand, reassurance in Vietnam. Having alumni on the ground helps us hear those nuances directly and adapt our communication in real time. It’s reinforced what we already know about student recruitment. It’s not transactional exchange of information; it’s relationship-building.
-
To deepen it further. The evidence is clear: alumni voices are driving results but, it’s the quality of connection that matters. We’ll continue training and supporting our graduates through our partnership with Alumnify to ensure that authenticity scales with us.
