Home · Modern slavery statement

Legal

Everyone who works for us does so by choice, under contract, and paid directly.

This statement sets out the steps Alumnify Ltd has taken to make sure slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking have no place in our business or our supply chains.

Financial year ended 31 January 2026 Approved 6 June 2026

1. Structure and supply chains

Alumnify Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15388049). Our registered office is 15 (3) Bramah Road, London, England, SW9 6FP.

We connect universities with their own graduates in international markets, to support student recruitment and offer-holder conversion. Our services are delivered by Alumnifiers: graduates of our partner universities, engaged as independent contractors in more than 20 countries.

Our own workforce is small and based in the UK. Our other suppliers are established software and payment providers.

This statement is made in line with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Policies

We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour or human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chains.

Our Safeguarding Policy and our contractor agreements apply to everyone working on our behalf. Every Alumnifier signs a code of conduct as part of onboarding, before any assignment is offered.

3. Due diligence

Every Alumnifier is vetted before engagement. Their degree is verified against the awarding university, they work under a written contractor agreement, and they are paid individually through established payment platforms into an account in their own name.

Paying each contractor directly, rather than through a local intermediary or labour agency, is the most important control we have. It is also the one that can be checked, because an engagement without both a signed agreement and an individual payment record is visible in our own systems.

All UK employees are paid above the National Living Wage.

4. Risk assessment

We consider the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains to be low. Our contractors are graduates working in professional, skilled roles, engaged directly by us. We do not use labour agencies or subcontracted labour, and we do not operate in the sectors where forced labour is most commonly reported.

Where risk would arise, it is in how Alumnifiers are engaged and paid, so that is where our controls sit.

5. How we measure it

We track two things for every Alumnifier engagement:

  • A signed contractor agreement is in place before any work is offered or assigned.
  • Payment is made individually, to the contractor, through an established payment platform.

Both are recorded per person in our own systems rather than confirmed by sampling, so a gap is visible rather than something we would have to go looking for.

6. Training

Every Alumnifier completes onboarding training before their first assignment, which includes safeguarding. Completion dates and expiry dates are recorded, and an Alumnifier whose mandatory training is not current cannot be assigned to a campaign.

7. Raising a concern

If you have a concern about modern slavery in our business or our supply chains, you can raise it with us at hello@alumnify-uni.com. You can raise a concern in confidence.

We will look into anything reported to us, and nobody will be penalised for raising a concern in good faith.
